Due to the great success of the 2010 Exeter Marathon and the coverage by the national media, we expect the race to grow. With this in mind, changes must be made for the 2011 event. These changes may include a new course, venue, and perhaps race name. However, the organizational principles will be the same. This is a qualifiers-only race. You must meet the qualifying standards in order to register. There were no exceptions in 2010 and there will be no exceptions in 2011.
